Originally designed as a residential-style hotel with wind-swept terraces to entertain, the Neo-Romanesque edifice, a New York City Landmark, exudes the ambiance of a private club.
The Benjamin was fully redesigned by Interior Designer Lauren Rottet and restyled in partnership with Benjamin Sleep Expert, Dr. Rebecca Robbins, to bolster the residential appeal and create an ambiance of relaxed sophistication.

Chef Geoffrey Zakarian’s coveted menu from The National’s dining rooms is available from the comfort of your own. In-room dining is available from 6 AM to midnight.
With unique selections curated by Chef Geoffrey Zakarian, Snack Box evolves the concept of a hotel mini bar. Most of its offerings come from small-batch producers in New York & Brooklyn, or feature farm-fresh and organic ingredients.
The Salon, located on the third floor, is open daily from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm.
Spa services are available daily in the comfort of your room from 8:00 am until 12 midnight.
Hair, Make-Up and Manicure Services are available upon request.

Laundry, dry cleaning, and pressing services are available daily. A list of laundry service options and instructions are included in the closet of each room.
The Benjamin guarantees informed high-level business amenities and personalized service. Wireless, High-Speed Internet are available in public spaces and the comfort of your room. On-site Print, Scan and Copy services are available.
The Benjamin appointed Les Clefs d’Or Concierge to provide informed recommendations on local services and attractions. From restaurant and bar suggestions to contacts for childcare and yoga instructors, the Concierge is a resource on all things local. Complimentary shoe polishing is available to hotel guests, with all shoes returned the next morning.
The Guest Reception Team at The Benjamin is on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week to ensure all your needs are met in a New York minute.
For our guests driving into New York City, the hotel offers valet parking at a daily rate of $65 for a sedan or $70 for an SUV. To make arrangements, contact our Concierge or Guest Services Team.
Taxis are available on 50th Street at the main entrance of the hotel. The Benjamin’s doormen assists all guests in hailing a taxi. All yellow New York City taxis are required to accept credit and debit cards in addition to US dollars for payment and gratuity. Car service and rentals are available too–simply contact our Concierge.
