Stage star Annaleigh Ashford returns for her yearly one-night-only cabaret concert and New Year’s Eve special at 54 Below. With her band, the Whiskey 5, Annaleigh will perform original tunes and Broadway numbers as guests indulge in a three-course dinner with champagne. Grand Army Plaza, Brooklyn
A picnic may sound something more suited to warmer weather but for a low-key and easy New Year’s Eve, view the fireworks above Grand Army Plaza in Brooklyn. Pack a thermos, chairs and plenty of warm blankets as fireworks dazzle in the sky above Park Slope. Live music starts at 11 p.m. and you can snag a complimentary cup of hot chocolate upon arrival.
