Dr. Rebecca Robbins is a Cornell sleep medicine professor and the co-author of Sleep for Success, traveling internationally to give talks on the latest sleep research. Much of the Rest & Renew program’s content and resources are based on the studies and findings outlined in her book. Robbins is available for custom sleep consultations while overseeing the hotel’s Sleep Team.
Winks' Kidzzz Club
Winks’ Kidzzz Club is a complimentary children’s program created to educate our youngest guests on the importance of sleep. The Benjamin provides children age two to 10 with a child-sized pillow and bathrobe, a library of family bedtime books, and an official Winks’ Kidzzz Club Sleep Certificate awarded at check-out. Winks the Owl dolls are available for purchase.
Bedtime Bites by The National, a special selection of snacks prepared by The National Bar & Dining Rooms’ Iron Chef Geoffrey Zakarian and his culinary team, and endorsed by Robbins, will ensure that guests have just the right amount to snack on before bed to tide the body over until morning. The low-protein, low-sugar selections are all around 200 calories, and it is recommended to consume a snack 90 minutes before bedtime.
